Knitting a baby cap

Ik was gister zo druk met mijn mutsje dat ik de engelse vertaling vergeten ben. Hier komt hij:

Yesterday i was so busy with my little cap that i did forget the english translation. So here it is:

Embroidery is fun, much fun but sometimes you want something different. For example something that you can do when you watch TV, or something that you can take to the waiting room at the hospital where you always have to wait. Do you know that Marianne M makes very nice bags for you to take your needlework with you. Her site can be found here.
When I was searching for the history of our new house, I was reading a story that some sixty years ago in this house a baby deceased from hypothermia. And a few days ago I did read in the newspaper ... in India, babies still die of hypothermia.
Save the Children will do something about it and is working on an action for baby caps.
It is simple to knit and can be made by anyone.
The number of casp stands now at 12,970 but in a country with more than 375 million children they can use many more caps.
You do not have to send the cap to India but you can send i to The Hague, Holland. Nurses from Save the Children will distribute the caps in India in the mobile clinics as they provide information to parents.
This morning I started with a hat, will you also help?
The pattern can be downloaded here.
The pattern is in dutch, when you want a english translation plaese leave a comment and i will send you one.

Appreciating the time and effort you put into your website and in depth information you offer.
It's awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same out of date rehashed information.
Great read! I've bookmarked your site and I'm
adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
