Af en toe krijg ik de vraag of ik het patroon ook kan plaatsen met symbolen in plaats van gekleurde vlakken.
Graag hoor ik wat jullie hiervan vinden. (het is deel 1 en deel 2 samen).

Sometimes I am asked if I could post a pattern with symbols instead of colored blocks.
Please let me know what you think of this. (it is part 1 and part 2 together).

Kleurrijk Hamelen

Leuk dat jullie allemaal zo enthousiast meedoen met de nieuwe SAL. Ik krijg reacties in allerlei talen maar gelukkig is er google om al die leuke berichten te vertalen.

Annemiek maakt een heel aparte Hamelen... ze verft zelf haar stof en op deze vrolijk gekleurde lap borduurd ze nu met zwart. Ik ben nu al benieuwd hoe het er uit gaat zien als Hamelen helemaal klaar is.

Nice that there are so many people stitching this new SAL. I get reactions in many languages, but fortunately there is google to translate all those nice messages.

Annemiek makes a very special Hamelen ... she dyes her own fabric and on this colorful fabric she is making a black Hamelen. I have been wondering how it will look like when Hamelen is ready...

Hamelen SAL deel 1

We beginnen maar gelijk met een mededeling... de SAL gaat bestaan uit 6 delen en niet uit 8. Als ik het patroon in 8 stukken verdeel worden het wel heel kleine stukjes.

The Hamelen SAL will have 6 parts, and not 8. When I made the pattern into 8 pieces they were to small.

Hamelen SAL en kadootje

Bedankt voor al jullie enthousiaste reacties. Leuk dat er weer zoveel mensen mee gaan doen.

De SAL gaat beginnen op maandag 9 november 2009 en om de twee weken plaats ik een nieuw deel van het patroon.

En omdat mijn teller mij vanmorgen vertelde dat ik meer dan 50.000 bezoekers heb gehad op dit weblog krijgt iedereen van mij een kadootje. Niet alleen leuk voor jezelf maar ook leuk om weg te geven met sinterklaas of kerst.

The SAL will begin on Monday, November 9, 2009 and every two weeks I will post a new part of the pattern.

And since my counter told me this morning that I've had more than 50,000 visitors on this blog, everyone gets a gift from me. Not only for yourself but also great fun to give away with christmas.

De kleurnummers heb ik er niet bij gezet, je kunt met deze patroontjes heel goed je restjes garen opmaken.
In de loop van volgende week komt er een nieuwe workshop waarin ik zal uitleggen hoe je alles in elkaar kunt zetten.

I did not place the color numbers with the pattern, you can stitch these patterns very good with leftovers.
